Have family connections with Carluke since about 1840 til present. The Anguses arrived from Muirkirk Linkyburn mine. Previously they could have been in Aberdeenshire. The Malloys/Molloys were irish itinerants working on the railway building programme, but settled at Roadmeetings working in the local mines.
